Highlights:
Dhwani is published annually by the department of English with the specific aim of promoting research and academic activities among teachers and scholars. Our contributors include academicians, theorists, and creative writers of eminence from different colleges and universities. English main students annually bring out a manuscript magazine titled New Wave to encourage the creative and critical talents of the students. Creative Communication and Spoken English is a U G C sponsored add-on programme run by the Department of English. The course which is highly relevant today is designed to provide additional skills in communication both creative and spoken. Effective is imparted to the student through class room teaching using visual aids and interaction with eminent resource persons. Dr.N.V.Raveendranath,Reader,Department of English is the coordinator of the course. The Department organizes national and state seminars every year, which benefit a large number of teachers and students of M.G.University. Dr.N.V.Raveendranath is a member of the P G and U G Board of Studies of Nagpur University and Dr. S.Sujatha is a member of the U G Board of Studies of M.G.University Kottayam.
