Research Programmes:

Research activities of the Department have received a fillip,with teachers undergoing Post Doctoral  Fellowship and taking up  Research Projects.    .The future plans of the department includes extension of activities to become a consultancy center in this area.

Major research facilities:

A library-cum-reading room with most relevant books and journals.
Nearly 10000 books and 20 journals are available for reference.

Dr.Unnikrishnan is a Research Guide at School of Pure and Applied Physics,MG University,Kottayam

Dr. Rajesh.R. was awarded Post Doctoral Fellowship at Catholicate University ,Belgium.
