Department of Political Science
     RESEARCH AND CONSULTANCY CELL (RCC) of the Department of Politics
     plans to conduct independent     research by the faculty and provide
     consultancy service to the community.
     Plans:
     1) To introduce a new mechanism to conduct an orientation programme
     for the benefit of the PG       students of the college. The programme is scheduled
     to enable the students to appear for the UGC-NET.
     2) It was also decided to identify five backward divisions in Kottayam and
     Alappuzha District Panchayats (through the feed back mechanism of the students)
     for a campaign on Right to Information among the weaker sections of the society
     3) The RCC also resolved to make a proposal to the UGC for sanctioning a
     refresher course/ workshop on Human Rights.
   The RCC is organized on the basis of research consultancy and extension
   experiences of the Faculty.The following members constitute the Cell:
