NCC      

The Army wing under this company, started in the year 1957. Till 2003,this coy has been under 15 Kerala Bn NCC Thiruvalla and at present, under 5Kerala Girls Bn NCC Changanacherry.

This company along with the girl's wing is under the command of Dr.(Capt) B.Udayanan from Dept. of Political Science. The total strength of the combined wing of Army boys and girls is 160. Our Coy is the final word inside the campus to maintain discipline and decorum. The cadets have been actively participating in almost all wide ranging activities which include tree plantation, blood donation, literacy mission programme, leadership building programme, adventures activities etc.

The cadets through N.C.C quota can eye for a decent career for their better life. Many cadets have been inducted in the Indian Armed Forces and in other services as well since its inception. This coy is providing career guidance, classes for cadets in getting placement in Indian Armed forces and the information wing is equipped with job opportunities for students also.

Many cadets have distinguished themselves by being part of the Kerala Contingent in the Republic Day Parade. Su/ officer S. Praveen got selected to accompany the Youth Cultural Exchange Team to U.K. Su/officer Ajith K.G. became the pride of the college by becoming the contingent commander of Kerala NCC for the 2006 Republic Day Camp. The girls have also won laurels in many camps. The NCC unit of our college is doing wonderfully to hold the college flag high and inspires many to be part of the fold. NCC offers many incentives through the 'A' 'B' and 'C' certificate examinations It enhances their chances to get inducted into the army services.

In a glittering ceremony   arranged in the seminar hall, Lt.Col.JOY CHOUDHARY COMMANDING   OFFICER,15(K)   BATTALION   NCC TIRUVALLA, was the chief guest.The meeting was chaired by P R   KESAVACHANDRAN, Honourable   Principal of the College. Mrs .SARADA   NAIR wife of late Col.VS Nair and MISS.RADHIKA NAIR,VISUAL MEDIA JOURNALIST,MUMBAI, daughter of late Col.VS Nair graced and spoke on the occassion and  gave away the awards.Major.James,S.B.College,Changanacherry,  CAPT(Dr) B   UDAYANAN,NCC OFFICER and Prof VP Gopalakrishnan Nair  spoke in the function.
